Capote Baptist Cemetery The cemetery is well-maintained and just Southeast of Seguin. Most burials are primarily African-American and represent some very important pioneers of Guadalupe County, Texas; to include the Wilson brothers. Adjacent to the cemetery is a a church on the old grounds of the Hyrum Wilson Pottery. A historical marker explains the significance of this location. As of September, 2008, services were still being held there with a very small congregation.
