This cemetery is located outside of Speegleville Texas. It is an African American Cemetery that was started by property purchased and donated by former slaves. It is well maintained and has a Historical Marker. The cemetery is small and has good signage and is fenced. The earliest recorded grave is 1880 and is followed by many of the early settlers of this community. The cemetery is located adjacent to the church. Directions: From Waco Texas travel north on Hwy 6 then turn left onto Speegleville Road, drive until the first road joins in on the right side and take that road (aka Speegleville Road) proceed to the 2nd road on the left (Willow Grove) and turn left. Proceed down Willow Grove road thru several turns (3 -4 miles) until you reach the cemetery on the left side.
